Following consultation on the interim report which was published on 8 December 2008, Sir Jim Rose’s final report was published today at 10.30.  Details are available on the DCSF Website.

Sir Jim Rose's interim advice to the Secretary of State on how the primary curriculum should change is published

31 March 2009
Sir Jim Rose submits final advice to the Secretary of State

May – July 2009
Formal consultation, subject to ministerial approval, on the government's proposals

September 2009
Secretary of State signs off on the statutory elements of the primary curriculum

September 2011
Having been provided with support during the previous year, schools begin to teach the new primary curriculum
